TERMS OF SERVICE

In consideration of the acceptance of my online order or registration, I hereby waive any and all claims of injury or damage to my person, property or reputation that may arise now, or in the future, from any cause whatsoever in connection with my participation in SouthEast LeatherFest (SELF), and against its members, agents, operators, employees, lessors, lessees, or any other subsidiaries. By accepting the Terms of Service and registering, I state that I have read and understand this disclaimer.

I further state that I am at least 21 years of age. I affirm that I am registering under my legal name; I understand that I will be required to provide photo ID and that my registration may be cancelled without refund or other consideration if I have not registered under my legal name or if I have attempted to purchase someone else's registration. Registrations are transferable.

I understand that SELF reserves the right to refuse my registration for this event for any reason, and if that occurs my payment will be refunded minus any applicable fees.

I agree and further state that I will not raise funds at SELF for any event, group, charity, titleholder, mission or other entity. I understand that solicitation of funds not related to SELF official fundraisers is strictly prohibited and could result in being asked to leave the event without refund.

Force Majeure. Should events beyond the reasonable control of the Hotel and/or SELF including but not limited to (1) acts of God, (2) war, including armed conflict, (3) strikes or labor disputes at the Hotel or in Atlanta area, (4) disease at the Hotel or in southeast region, (examples of disease: SARS, Legionnaires, COVID-19), (5) government regulation or advisory (including travel advisory warnings), (6) civil disturbance at the Hotel or in surrounding Atlanta, (7) terrorism or threats of terrorism in the United States as substantiated by governmental warnings or advisory notices, (8) curtailment of transportation services or facilities which would materially affect attendees from attending the conference, (9) disaster, fire, earthquakes, hurricanes in southeast region and/or Atlanta, (10) unseasonable extreme inclement weather in southeast/Atlanta area, (11) shortages or disruption of the electrical power supply causing blackouts or rolling blackouts or other essential utilities in southeast/Atlanta area, (12) acts of city, state, governmental, or hotel action prohibiting or impeding SELF from performing its respective obligations under the terms of service, (13) any other cause reasonably beyond the parties' control (collectively referred to as "occurrences"), make the event commercially impracticable, impracticable to perform, illegal, or impossible to fully perform under this Agreement as the Parties originally contracted.  In such case the affected Party may terminate this Agreement, without liability, without financial obligation, without performance obligation, upon written notification.  Notice under this provision may be given at any time in advance of the Conference provided that the notifying party has met the requirements of this provision.
